Tim's nerd stuff

i3

Way back in the day, I was an #i3 user. But I’m a bit lazy these days and just want to have things all configured and working, so I default to #Gnome. But Gnome is a little lame and only tiles to half the screen, making it challenging to get organized. I did try to add pop-shell from System76 to my #Fedora install, but I found it still a little clunky. So while looking around the Gnome extensions page, I encountered Tactile, which I find to be an excellent and handy way to manage my application windows. It lets me just use the keyboard and is pretty simple. So if you want to tile your windows in Gnome, I recommend it.
